Off-centre is Nottingham’s first Independent Photo Festival. It will be taking place from 27th October to 11th November 2018 across a number of different venues in Nottingham city centre.
The aim of the festival is to promote and encourage photography. Nottinghamshire has a rich photographic heritage, an abundance of talented local photographers and this festival will showcase the work of local photographers. We will be exhibiting work from a diverse range of the our local photography community. All types of photography are welcome.
The Festival has developed from Nottingham Photo Social, an informal monthly gathering that offers a platform for local photographers to showcase their photography, improve their skills, and develop their personal approach to their photography projects. You can learn more about the Social here
The Festival has a range of local sponsors and supporters, including Real Creative Futures and The Big House, local galleries, the Royal Photographical Society, and local charities; you can read about these over on our Sponsors Page. The festival will also engage with other local events in October such as Mental Health week, and Black History month.
